Our 2025 - 2028 strategy
Our vision is a gender-equal Victoria where everyone, regardless of gender, is treated fairly and has the opportunity to thrive.
While fairness is a value many of us hold deeply, systemic gender inequality persists — in pay gaps, leadership imbalances, workforce segregation and experiences of sexual harassment. Addressing these issues requires leadership action, ambition, and determination.
To help drive lasting change, the Commission will strengthen its role as a leading practice regulator. We will set a higher bar for compliance with the Gender Equality Act and focus our efforts where they can have the greatest impact — addressing the biggest drivers and impacts of gender inequality across the public sector.
The 2025–2028 Strategic Plan sets out the strategic pillars that will guide our work, the priority areas we will focus on, and the ways we will measure our success.
